Hospice relies on the generous support of the community, as shown
through participation in various community special events.
Each year, Hospice hosts several
events which are sponsored by community businesses and donors and
are planned to be entertaining for the whole community. These have
included:

Fashion Gives Back
a Spring event in Brighton featuring
fashions from The Clan Shop and other fashion retailers

Annual Live Concert
featuring wonderful guest musicians on
stage, with prizes and donated items for auction such as dinner +
theatre, golf, and entertainment packages, as well as gift items.
Held in June.

The Mayors’ Cup Challenge
held at the Brighton Speedway, this is a novelty or fun race in
which our Mayors compete for fame (as the winner) and fortune (as
the mayor with the most pledged donations). Held
August 29, 2009.

Divide & Plant Sale
is a fundraiser for Northumberland United Way, Hospice’ way to give
back. Plants may be donated for sale by contacting the office.
Held September 12, 2009.
